Naturally….

…..I spoke too soon. Just when I thought I had kicked it, this stupid cold smacked me right across the face. The last two days have really sucked, an endless stream of lying in bed, drinking tea and watching Arrested Development on DVD (wait, that doesn’t actually sound half bad…). I am loathe to say that I am finally feeling better for fear that I wake up tomorrow with measles or something equally horrific. At this point, I will be happy if we can all get on the plane to go to my mom’s on Saturday.
By the way, have I mentioned that my son is now walking? Oh yes, he is walking. It happened shortly after Thanksgiving, actually-he went from three or four stumbling steps at a time to three or four feet in about 48 hours. Last night, as I languished in bed upstairs, I could hear lots of footsteps and giggling from downstairs. When I asked Brian what they were doing, he said, “Running.” Great. I’d better start recuperating.

Awww! Hope you’re feeling better soon! You’re going to have to post some video of the little runner man!
